Info: Tiara was found with gunshot wounds in a motel. Six days before her killing she had posted on Facebook asking for financial help.
Darris Dee Marshall, 33, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Info: Kasí was a woman of faith who worked as a hair stylist. She died from gunshot injuries after being shot in the front yard of a home.
As is far too often the case local media and law enforcement misgendered and deadnamed her.
Subsequently Lynchburg Police arrested and charged Victor Dale Giles, 40, with first-degree murder.

Info: Rosa was one of three people killed in a shooting in the parking lot of her workplace, a Target store in Austin. The other victims were an elderly man and a 4 year-old child.
Ethan Neineker, 32, was arrested after the murders.

Info: JJ was reported missing on 19th June. Several weeks later police charged their boyfriend with homicide.

Laura loved animals, was well known in the LGBTQ+ community and had attended a friend’s birthday party the night before she was killed. Her loss came as a huge shock to those who knew her.

Info: Jonathan was a cisgender actor known for roles in King of the Hill and Parks and Recreation. He died defending his partner, a trans man, from a homophobic attack.
Initially police claimed that his murder was not a hate crime, but after widespread outrage they retracted that claim.

Info: Karmin died in her home. Police suspect that her killer was a man she arranged to meet on a date, and that he shot her before robbing her.

Info: Kelsey was shot by her abusive boyfriend after - fearing for her safety - she asked a witness to call the police during an argument.

Info: Kai was killed during an attempted carjacking in which her brother was also shot. Her murder took place on the Trans Day of Visibility.
Kai was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabam and liked liked Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Kehlani, Ciara, Doja Cat, Big Freedia and many other musical artists. She had worked as a PrEP navigator with The Knights and Orchids Society (TKO Society) since August 2023.

Info: Linda died in hospital after being shot by the police sent to help her. She had called 911 because she was being held captive and may have been a victim of sex trafficking.
Linda was an independently minded devout Catholic who had previously been helped by the Sidewalk Project when she was homeless and fleeing from sexual violence.

Info: Amyri died after being shot. Her killer is being sought by police.

Info: Ervianna's body was found near a pond not far from her home on Sunday 16th February, three days after she had gone missing. Ten days later her death was ruled a homicide.
Ervianna lived with her birth family and worked at a hotel and as a digital content creator. Her social media paints a vivid picture of a woman full of life, which makes her murder even more tragic.

Info: Sam died after being horrifically tortured over an extended period by a group of several people. Reportedly they even coerced two children into toturing Sam.
Seven people were charged in connection with his murder.

Info: Tahiry was shot and killed after an altercation with a man. He has been arrested on second-degree murder charges.
Tahiry's aunt described her as "Funny, smart like one of those people that can walk into the darkest room and find some light in it", and expressed hope that others would remember her for that rather than what she did for work.
