SisTers PGH is a BLACK and TRANS led non-profit organization that serves QTBIPOC (Queer Trans Black Indigenous People of Color) trans, and nonbinary people within Southwestern PA.
Project T
Project T helps TGNC people transition from unstable environments and unsupportive communities to finding avenues to support and take care of themselves while connecting with the trans community.
The Home Equity Committee
The Home Equity Committee is dedicated to transitioning our members who have graduated from our Project T program into a place of permanent independence through home ownership.
Community Center
SisTers PGH's community center is a safe, brave, drop-in space for TGNC folk in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. In addition to a community hangout, we can provide access to clothing, toiletries, food, and computers, as well as referrals to vetted trans competent service providers, and intakes to our other programs as needed.
Brothers PGH
A space for transmen to thrive and receive resources when needed. Organize around reproductive justice and the dissection of cis spaces that do not value and support transmen and the discrimination they face.
TGNC Youth Collective
Advocates for the art of trans people. Also organizing young trans folks around city/state legislation addressing transphobia that threatens the young trans people thriving within the community.
The Name Change Project
The Name Change Project is where trans/non-binary folks can come and get help going through the process of achieving the goal of having their name match their identity.
Grow to Succeed
This program is currently on hold. Creating a safe and brave space for sober living for trans people. Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) focused but not your typical AA/NA group. Grow to Succeed is specifically for trans people.
