Info: Brandi was found dead with a plastic bag around her head and reports of head trauma. The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.

Jazz Alford

Info: Jazz was shot dead in a room at the Kings Inn hotel. Her body was discovered by housekeeping staff.
Denzell Thomas, 22, was indicted for her murder after being arrested for shooting another trans woman during a home invasion and robbery. In June 2019 he took a plea deal.
Crystal Edmonds

Info: Crystal was found on a sidewalk by police at 3 a.m on the morning of Friday 16th September. She had been shot in the back of the head.
She was taken to hospital but died a few hours later.

Info: T. T. was found dead in Chicago's Garfield Park on the night of Sunday 11th September. Her throat had been cut and there was a knife nearby.
Rae'Lynn Thomas

Info: Rae'Lynn was shot and then beaten in her home by her mother's transphobic ex-boyfriend.
Erykah Tijerina

Info: Erykah was found dead by her stepfather in their apartment at about 8pm on Monday 8th August.
An autopsy report concluded that she "died of stab wounds of face and torso with injuries of lung and carotid artery. The manner of death is homicide."
In January 2019 Anthony Michael Bowden, 21, was convicted of her murder.
Skye Mockabee
Age: 26

Info: Skye was found unresponsive in a parking lot with an apparent head-wound early on the morning of Saturday 30th July.
After the owner of a store called the authorities, emergency services found her lying next to a tow truck with scrapes and bruises on her face and bleeding from her mouth. She was declared dead at the scene.
Dee Whigham

Location: St. Martin, MS
Info: Dee was found stabbed 119 times in a hotel room in the Best Western hotel in St. Martin, Mississippi. She had travelled to the town to attend the Gulf Coast Black Rodeo (GCBR) rodeo with friends.
Two days after she was killed, a 20-year-old Navy seaman in training named Dwanya Hickerson was charged with capital murder for the crime. In July 2017 he was sentanced to 40 years for murder and 15 for robbery.
Deeniquia Dodds ("Dee Dee")
Age: 22
Date: 7/13/2016
Location: Washington, DC
Info: Dee Dee was shot in the neck during an attempted robbery just around the corner from the house where she lived with her family.
She was placed on life support but died nine days later.
Jalonte Little, Monte T. Johnson and Cyheme Hall were subsequently charged for robbery conspiracy and first-degree felony murder – a murder which prosecutors said was motivated by her gender identity.
Goddess Diamond

Info: Goddess was found beaten to death in a burning car.
She had been heading to a friend's party in a borrowed car on the night she was killed. According to the medical examiner, she died of blunt force trauma before the car was set alight.
