Michelle Simone Washington "Tamika"

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Info: Michelle was found with gunshot wounds in North Philadelphia just after 5am on Sunday 19th May. She died in hospital.
Muhlaysia Booker
Age: 23
Date: 5/18/2019
Location: Dallas, TX
Info: Muhlaysia was found dead in the street by police in East Dallas at around 6:40 a.m. A month earlier she had been brutally attacked outside apartments in south Dallas. In June 2019 Kendrell Lavar Lyles, 34, was arrested and charged with three counts of murder.
Claire Legato
Age: 21
Date: 5/14/19
Location: Cleveland, OH
Info: Claire died in hospital on 14th May after being shot in the head on 15th April while she tried to defend her best friend's mum from an abusive boyfriend.
Claire had intervened to defend her best friend's mother from him as he argued with her over a tax return cheque.
Ashanti Carmon

Location: Fairmount Heights, MD
Info: Ashanti was shot and killed early on the morning of Saturday 30th March. In death, her father erased her identity. On 11th May a "Celebration of Lives" service was held at Metropolitan Community Church of Washington DC for Ashanti and four other members of the LGBT community who died unexpectedly in the two-week period following her death. Deborah Carmon and her husband were the only family members who attended.
Jazzaline Ware
Age: 34

Location: Memphis, TN
Info: Jazzaline was found dead in her apartment. Her death is now being investigated as a homicide.
Faye "Morena Black"
Date: 2/24/2019
Location: FL
Info: Faye reportedly took her own life sometime during the weekend of 23rd/24th February.
Every loss to suicide is an absolute tragedy, and that of Faye is certainly no different. As someone who worked in the adult movie industry her personality and life has probably been subjected to far more scrutiny than most of us, and inevitably for many the person who they remember will be the media persona rather than the real person.
In Faye's case, we can only do what we can to try to balance that out - to give others a chance to remember Faye, the loving wife of Terri, rather than Morena Black, Faye's stage persona.

Age: 31

Location: Montgomery, AL
Info: Dana was found dead in her car at about 11pm on Sunday 6th January. She had been shot.
